Piers is the founder and director of ClaydenLaw.
Piers has been a commercial lawyer since 1998. He became a partner in 2007 at Manches LLP, a leading commercial firm in London, Oxford and Reading, where he specialised in advising clients on commercial contracts with an intellectual property element – mainly in the fields of Life Sciences, IT, Publishing and New Media. Prior to moving to Manches in 2001, Piers spent five years with the City law firm now known as DLA Piper. During the course of his career, Piers has been on secondment in-house with Taylor Woodrow, Granada TV (now ITV), and Hasbro.
Piers left Manches at the end of 2009 to form ClaydenLaw.
Piers is a regular speaker at public seminars and training courses and is an active member of the Society for Computers and Law.

Katharine qualified as a solicitor in 1998 and worked for nearly a decade at London-based firm Olswang LLP, initially in the corporate department and then as a commercial solicitor in the firm's media, communications and technology department.
Now based in Oxford, Katharine has joined ClaydenLaw in 2013. She is able to provide general commercial advice to a wide range of clients, and historically has specialised in advice to publishers, music industry bodies, broadcasters and other audio-visual and multi-platform content distributors on both their transactional and day-to-day activities.
