What was the problem?
Docuware approached us in in relation to the appointment, for its cloud based document management service, of its first reseller, in the UK. The reseller wanted to adopt a different contracting model from its standard approach, meaning a direct agreement between the provider (our client) and the reseller’s customers.
What did we do?
The normal approach in this situation is that the contract goes from provider to reseller, reseller to customer. Because the reseller wanted to adopt a different contracting model, we were required to bring our specialist knowledge to bear to develop a direct agreement between Docuware and the reseller’s customers.
