New appointment: SEQ Legal's Alasdair Taylor joins Clayden Law
Specialist IT, data privacy and cybersecurity law firm Clayden Law, has appointed IT law expert, Alasdair Taylor, to join their team based in Oxford.
Alasdair has joined Clayden Law as a Consultant, specialising in IT law, intellectual property and data privacy.
His clients include cloud service providers, hosting services businesses, website operators and software developers. They range from newly minted start-ups to established SMEs and international non-profits.
In addition to his client work, Alasdair also runs SEQ Legal, a legal software and publishing business, publishing professional legal templates. Before setting up SEQ Legal in 2007, he worked as a solicitor for Manches in Oxford, in the firm's technology and media group; before that, he worked for Mayer Brown in London, in the firm's intellectual property and IT group.
Alasdair said, of joining the Clayden Law team: “After working solo for a decade, I decided it was time for a change, and am delighted to now be working as a consultant for Clayden Law. With its depth of expertise in IT law and data privacy, Clayden Law is the perfect home for my client practice.”
